Pharmacy app with late adaptors

Redesigned a high-tech pharmacy app for a new audience (late adaptors) and new patient intents. Integrated with a pharmacy kiosk (think Redbox for prescriptions). At the same time I rebranded the the look of the company.

The problem

New audience, new branding, new research

SpotRx Pharmacy is transitioning from early adapters to a boomer audience. In this transition, new friction points are exposed. Poor engagement and conversion rates.  New branding was introduced.

Goals and my roles

Since the pharmacy is a start-up pharmacy, I wore many hats. I started this project discovering why late adapters even uses a pharmacy app. What was their primary user intents? Next, what are the current friction points on current existing app? While redesigning their app, I also was testing new branding styles.

Primary business goals:
1. Reduce churnIncrease revenue
2. Reduce delivery costs
3. Drive kiosk utilization
5. Reduce pharmacy phone calls

What I am most proud of...

I am most proud of learning and strengthening my UX research skills. I was also successfully able to reduce refilling Rx requests from 9 clicks to 3.
